The event at Black Lotus was a lot of fun. The time stamp on my camera (which I can’t seem to get rid of) is a couple hours ahead, these photos were taken at the beginning of the event before my camera died. Not too long after, the shop was packed.

Swung by Jokers before heading to a junior high school reunion-get-together. It was great to see the crew, Rob, Alex, Sam, Paul, and Nicolas. I missed big Frank, and Lesley, Chris & family. Had a falafel from my favorite falafel joint around, Ali Baba.
Looking forward to tattooing at Jaz’s Black Lotus Gallery, 212 Greene ave, corner of Grand, Fort Greene. I will be there Nov 8th-December 5th.

Returned from a wonderful summer in Maine. I enjoyed collaborating with my friend Sam Wilson of With a Mouse Design on the MIY logo this spring, Sam beautifully bringing to life my pencil design. I love how it turned out.
I had the pleasure of meeting and getting tattooed by Marcus Khun in July, who also set me up with a lovely machine.
I also got to finally meet and hang with Galen of Freaks N Geeks, Asheville, NC; who was on the island with his wife Jess. The photo below doesn’t do the size of Chris’ monster bonfire justice. Fun night by the beach.
